Wakanda Forever LEGO Seemingly Spoils Marvel's Plan To Keep New Black Panther Identity A Mystery

With the long list of projects confirmed by Marvel at the recent Comic-Con in San Diego, it was the first official teaser of their much-talked-about project ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ that gained everyone’s attention. While Marvel finally decided to not recast anyone in the role of T’Challa player by Chadwick Boseman, they even paid tribute to the late actor with the recently dropped teaser. Check out the teaser of the upcoming Marvel movie here:

While the citizens of Wakanda mourn the loss of King T’Challa, the teaser introduced us to a couple of new characters while focusing on the rising underwater threat. But what turned into an intense conversation online was the glimpse of a new Black Panther in an upgraded suit at the end of the teaser. While MCU fans indulged in a guessing competition online, new LEGO sets of the movie seemingly revealed the real identity of the new superhero.

According to the LEGO set images, Shuri (Letitia Wright) appears to be the new Black Panther. While the use of purple, gold and silver to the new armor of Black Panther looks quite interesting, the LEGO sets are far from any official confirmation about Shuri’s new role in MCU.

While the first instalment of the ‘Black Panther’ franchise turned out to be a huge hit for Marvel, the second one helmed by Ryan Coogler is all set to hit the theatres on November 11, 2022. The final film of Marvel’s phase 4 will also include Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and others in significant roles.
