The war of words between filmmakers Vivek Agnihotri and Anurag Kashyap seems to be escalating day by day as their strife over The Kashmir Files. It all began when Kashyap said in an interview that he hopes The Kashmir Files isn’t sent as India’s official entry for Oscars. Following this Agnihotri replied and called Anurag a genocide-denier. Agnihotri has taken to his Twitter yet again and called out Kashyap for not watching his The Kashmir Files yet.

In an interview with IndiaToday, Anurag said, “What (films) we send for consideration and what kind of films are actually nominated, there is a huge difference there. Only a handful of our films have been nominated for Oscars because we have sent the wrong films. I have not seen The Kashmir Files because it’s not my ideology. But I stick to my words.”
Vivek Agnihotri quoted this statement and slammed him as he tweeted, “Look at the intellectual dishonesty of these people, they judge and review your film without EVEN SEEING it. The genius filmmaker says #TheKashmirFiles which is about Hindu Genocide is not his ideology. Does this mean his ideology is that of Islamic Terrorists Brotherhood?”
