Talking to Variety, Powell said, “Before Comic-Con, everybody was like, ‘Dude, are you Cyclops?’ No, I’m not. Nobody has called me. I don’t even have contact info for Marvel, so I have no idea what people are talking about.” While the 33-year-old American actor, who played Lieutenant Jake Seresin in ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ broke several hearts with his comment, fans still hope to see the talented actor join MCU soon.

While Marvel announced a couple of projects at the recently held Comic Con in San Diego, Marvel fans have been pretty excited to know details about the studios’ phase 5 and 6 plans. In addition to announcing a couple of new projects, Marvel even dropped the trailer of their much-talked-about ‘Black Panther: Wakanda’ trailer.

On the other hand, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige too hinted at the mutant superhero team X-Men joining MCU after ending their much-appreciated series ‘Ms. Marvel’ on a mysterious mutation note.
