The ongoing boycott culture has rattled the entire Hindi film industry. With much-awaited films like Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ and others, failing at the box office, actress Tisca Chopra in a recent interview shared her views on the ongoing trend.
With Tisca’s new series ‘Dahan’ all set to arrive on Disney Plus Hotstar, the talented actress shared her views on the ongoing boycott culture trend during a recent promotional interview with India Today. “The bond with the audience is also important. I think they are larger-than-life. They are the ones who make us because without them, we are nothing,” Tisca said. Furthermore, she added, “If they are boycotting our films, sure. Kuch to soch rahe honge na vo log, kyu nahi sochenge. They are the ones spending their time and money to watch us so I respect what they want. If they don’t like it, they don’t.”
While Tisca urged all her fans to watch her upcoming series, she continued, “If they are boycotting something, it’s their decision. We take it with humility, we will try harder. There is no culture as such. They just don’t like the content.”
In addition to Tisca, ‘Dahan’ which is expected to arrive on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 16 will also feature an ensemble cast comprising of talented actors like Saurabh Shukla, Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, Ankur Nayyar and Rohan Joshi.
