'Thor: Love And Thunder' Trailer Reveals Thor's Tribute To Loki That You Probably Missed; *BRB Crying*

Twitter went abuzz as Marvel released new trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder. The trailer introduced Christian Bale’s Gorr The God Butcher and Russell Crowe’s Zeus. Apart from that, keen eyed fans also pointed out the sweet, eye tearing tribute of Thor for Loki(who is dead on Earth-616). During a scene where Thor’s back was exposed for a fleeting moment, fans saw that a tattoo honouring Loki was inked on God of Thunder’s back.

At the end of the trailer, Russell Crowe’s Zeus tries to take off of Thor’s clothes, believing that he is in a disguise and removes all of his clothes. With Thor completely naked, fans saw that he now has a big tattoo inked on his back, in honour of Loki. The tattoo shows the famous horned helmet that Loki wears in the comics and on-screen. Between the horns, tattooed into God of Thunder’s shoulders, is “RIP Loki.” Take a look at the tattoo below.

Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on July 8, 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU. Watch the trailer here.
