The long waiting game is about to end as Netflix is all set to release the much-awaited season four of their supernatural show, Stranger Things. And with the upcoming season divided into two volumes due to the content and insanely long episodes, the giant streaming platform is all set to premiere the first one on May 27.
With Netflix already sharing the first eight-minute episode of the supernatural show last week, fans are now much more eager to see how a powerless Eleven and the Hawkins crew members (who have been separated since the Starcourt mall battle) face the horrifying challenges coming their way.
While the fourth season resumes six months after the unforgettable Battle of Starcourt Mall (season three’s finale), it’s only getting bigger and scarier. And with reports suggesting that the makers spent nearly $30 million per season, will ‘Stranger Things Season 4’ be worth it? Find out what critics have to say about the upcoming season here:
#StrangerThings Season 4 premiere is big stakes, emotional, and scarier than ever. But more than anything, it’s just so good to have these characters — and this show — back. Get hyped, because there’s nothing else like this on TV.

I’ve seen multiple episodes of #StrangerThings4
but I’m only allowed to tweet about Ep 1
They spent $30 mil per episode for this and…
every penny is on screen.
It is GLORIOUS.
The ULTIMATE, MEGA 80s movie
to end all 80s movies ?✊

Episode 1 of #StrangerThings4 is both thrilling and horrifying. The story returns to its roots and delivers the most exciting & sinister season ever. Millie Bobby as #eleven continues to steal the show & the rest of the cast are fantastic. Fans are in for a ride! @Stranger_Things pic.twitter.com/kroJ1knlwx

Honestly pains me to say glowing things about a major Netflix show now, but I was floored by Season 4 of #StrangerThings. It’s Season 1 beefed up in the right ways. Wouldn’t call it scary, but the scares are impressive, delightful homages to Wes Craven. https://t.co/KEljzlRgav

Watching STRANGER THINGS at its biggest and mo$t expen$ive at this time in Netflix history makes for a surreal(/fitting) experience! My (spoiler-free) review of S4, which works in Hawkins but could’ve used a hefty edit elsewhere: https://t.co/w3PdiRQ6Mx

Guaranteed to be the only review of the new “Stranger Things” season that’s mostly a review of “Rocky IV”:https://t.co/J8wecbF6lr

My head means to type Stranger Things, but my fingers keep typing Better Things. I do not think the Mind Flayer would want any part of Max, Frankie, or Duke.

With Millie Bobbie Brown, Winona Ryder, Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, and others all set to reunite once again, things seem to turn pretty scary soon. While Netflix has already released the first eight-minute episode of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4, the insanely long episodes are all set to premiere on Netflix on May 27, 2022.
