With several blockbusters to his credit, Amitabh Bachchan continues to entertain fans with her stellar performances. And with a long list of interesting projects in the pipeline, Big B is all set to dominate the box office once again. But what has grabbed everyone’s attention is his popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ latest episode where a contestant claimed that the Bollywood legend owned him Rs 10.
Walking down the memory lane, KBC contestant Dhulichand Agarwal shared the incident that forced him to boycott Big B movies. “It was a time when I was studying in college. The financial situation back home was not good and I used to survive each month on a bare minimum. I took Rs 10 to watch your film on the first day of its release. With the Rs 10, I planned to buy the ticket, pay for the cycle stand, buy tea and snacks and return home,” Agarwal added. While a huge stampede followed by a lathi charge by the police spoiled Agarwal’s plans of watch Big B’s ‘Muqaddar ka Sikandar’, the former vowed to boycott all Big B movies since then.
Reacting to Agarwal’s story, Big B got up from his seat and returned Rs 20 (with added interest) and promised to watch the movie with him. While the Bollywood’s legend won over the internet with his sweet response, the banter between Agarwal and Big B continued on the quiz show.
On the professional front, Big B will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji ‘Brahmastra’. He also has ‘Goodbye’, ‘Project K’ and ‘Uunchai’ in his kitty.
