'Holy Sh*t!' Fans React As Marvel Introduces Christian Bale's Scary Villain In 'Thor: Love And Thunder' Trailer

Marvel has dropped the new trailer of the much awaited Thor: Love and Thunder. The trailer gave more details about Jane Foster and Thor’s relationship and also featured the first look of Christian Bale’s villain, Gorr The God Butcher. As the trailer of Thor 4 released,fans went crazy on the internet and reacted to Bale’s new villainous look. While several fans were impressed, a few fans pointed out that Bale’s Gorr wasn’t a accurate replica of the comic.

Thor: Love and Thunder’s new trailer introduced Christian Bale’s Gorr The God Butcher, who was shown to be devoid of color and mostly in black and white as compared to the bright colors of the movie. The trailer also gave a longer screentime to Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, who was only seen for a moment in the previous trailer. It also introduced Russell Crowe’s Zeus. Reacting to Christian Bale’s scary villain, one user wrote, “I always thought that #GorrtheGodButcher had a rather weird design from the comics, but now I’m convinced that he looks pretty intimidating just from his live action appearance.” Another user wrote, “What you see on the left is nowhere near close to what’s on the right. Maybe it’s his final form that he’ll evolve into, like Frieza from Dragon Ball Z. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m feeling pretty let down.” Take a look at the reactions here.

Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to be released in theatres on July 8, 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
