With the stars of Olivia Wilde’s ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ attending the film’s world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, a video of lead actor Harry Styles spitting on co-star Chris Pine has sparked an intense debate online. Responding to the viral video, Pine’s rep has refuted Styles spitting on his client in an official statement.
Calling the reports making rounds on the internet ‘ridiculous’, Pine’s rep said told Variety, “This is a ridiculous story, a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine.”

Furthermore, in the statement, Pine’s rep talked about the equation between the actors and added, “There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”
The concerned video from the film’s premiere in Venice made its way on the internet hours after fans assumed Pine to ‘zone out’ during a press conference where Styles was busy sharing his views about the upcoming psychological thriller. Check out what fans had to say about Pine’s viral video here.
Apart from Pine and Styles, the Olivia Wilde directorial also features Florence Pugh and Gemma Chan in pivotal roles. ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ is scheduled to arrive in theatres on September 23, 2022.
