From K-Drama ‘Little Women’ To Netflix’s ‘Jamtara’ Season 2: New OTT Shows Releasing In September 2022

In September 2022, there are plenty of weekly releases including K-drama Little Women on Netflix, House of The Dragon, The Rings of Power. Meanwhile, Netflix also has original releases like Jamtara returning for season 2 alongside Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 2. Other noteworthy shows are P – Valley and Departure on Lionsgate. The makers are bound to reveal more releases in the coming weeks.

The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings of Power (Amazon Prime Video) Weekly
The first two episodes were dropped on September 2, 2022. Based on Tolkien’s lore, the show takes place in the second age of Middle Earth which was threatened by Saouron. The show also brings back some of LOTR and The Hobbit’s beloved Elven characters while also introducing many new characters, places and species.

Little Women (Netflix) September 2
The Korean drama based on book Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, gives a twist to the classic tale with a crime thrilling story. Three sisters struggling financially are presented with a rare opportunity. All three who have different ways of thinking take different paths in life after a friend leaves them with 200 billion won after death.

House Of The Dragon (Disney+ Hotstar) Weekly
Following House Targaryen, the show takes place 200 years before Game of Thrones and explores the civil war known as ‘Dance of Dragon’. Greenlit for five seasons, House of The Dragon will also document lore from Song of Ice And Fire revealing show Targaryens ended up destroying themselves. Each episode releases on Monday at 6:30 am IST.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (Disney+ Hotstar) Weekly
Led by Tatiana Maslany the show follows Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters who is a lawyer in the superhuman department and defends other superheroes and villains in court as their lawyer She-Hulk.

Jamtara Season 2 (Netflix) September 23
The show is set to return with scamsters Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastav), Gudiya (Monika Panwar), and Rocky (Anshumaan Pushkar). The two will be seen fighting back in their own way to win back their phishing scam fortune. The show also stars Amit Sial, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Aksha Pardhasany. Some of the new cast members in season two include Ravi Chahal and Seema Pahwa.
