Actor Divyenndu Sharma, who made his acting debut with Madhuri Dixit’s 2007 movie ‘Aaja Nachle’, is popularly known as Munna Tripathi from ‘Mirzapur’. While the talented actor has entertained the audience with his versatile performances (over the years), in a recent media, Divyenndu opened up about ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and how he helped his then co-star Kartik Aaryan with acting.
While Divyenndu showered Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi with praise during his conversation with Siddharth Kannan, he also talked about working with Kartik Aaryan and helping him during his early days in the industry. “He was new, there was nothing to learn. In fact, I was teaching him. He was from an engineering background. He was happy, and I used to feel good looking at his happiness,” Divyenndu said.
During the conversation, the 39-year-old actor also talked about leaving the successful ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ franchise. “I didn’t wanted to do the same role, the same things again. I gave everything I could to Liquid in the first part,” Divyenndu added.
Last seen in webseries ‘Salt City’, Divyenndu is all set to share screen space with Gajraj Rao in Mangesh Hadawale’s upcoming movie ‘Thai Massage’. On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan, who is currently basking in the glory of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ will soon be seen in ‘Freddy’, ‘Shehzada’ and ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.
