Brahmastra, Vikram Vedha, Don’t Worry Darling, And Other Biggest Releases Of September 2022

This month there are many anticipated theatrical releases in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. While Florence Pugh will be seen in Don’t Worry Darling, Hrithik Roshan will be returning to action films with Vikram Vedha. OTT also has several releases like Blonde, and the return of Thor: Love And Thunder. There are plenty of weekly releases including K-drama Little Women on Netflix, House of The Dragon, The Rings of Power and more.

Don’t Worry, Darling (Theatre) September 23
Olivia Wilde’s second directorial led by Florence Pugh, Chris Pine and Harry Styles is one of the big releases this month. The film takes place in a utopian town in 1950s California. While living a carefree luxurious life, a wife discovers that her husband’s company may be up to some unsavory business outside the town. The film is set to release on the big screen around September 23 worldwide.

Blonde (Netflix) September 28
Netflix’s film led by Ana de Armas, follows the life of actress Marilyn Monroe, her rise to fame and her demise as one of the biggest stars in the world. The film’s teaser and trailer create alot of buzz with Ana De Armas’ acting and the film’s retro feels.

Hocus Pocus 2 (Disney+ Hotstar) September 30
One of the most anticipated films on Disney+, Hocus Pocus is a sequel to the iconic film Hocus Pocus. The film marks the return of iconic character’s nearly three decades after the original fantasy-horror-comedy. It follows three witches Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as Winnie, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson.

Brahmastra (Theatres) September 9
The Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt follows DJ named Shiva who discovers a remarkable affinity for the element of fire. He soon discovers he has the ability to awaken the Brahmastra, a legendary weapon with the potential to wipe out the entire universe, all life, and creation. Directed by Ayan Mukerji the film is part one of a trilogy.

Vikram Vedha (Theatres) 30 September 30
Vikram Vedha is written and directed by Pushkar-Gayathri from a screenplay by Neeraj Pandey. The film is a remake of the same-titled 2017 Tamil film. The Hindi film stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in leading roles. The action-packed teaser also hinted at a promising plot and performances.
